How can Counselling help?
As a young person you may find it extremely difficult to talk to friends and family about what you're experiencing; as a result, this can impact negatively on your mental health; leading to feelings of hopelessness and isolation.
Seeking support from counselling enables you as a young person to feel listened to and heard without judgement. Talking to an impartial, trustworthy trained professional, provides you with an opportunity to express your thoughts and feelings freely, in a safe, confidential and contained space. Engaging with counselling can help you to explore your difficulties, make sense of your emotions, enhance your self awareness and gain insight into the relationships you share with other people.
Attempting to navigate difficult challenges and life transitions can be hard. Accessing counselling can enable you to make more confident and informed choices; leading to positive outcomes that are right for you.
